Mr Andy Esparon is a qualified teacher holding BSc. (Hons) in Biology from the University of Wales, Bangor followed by a PGCE Certificate from the University of Cambridge. He has over 20 years’ experience in teaching in both public and private schools in the Seychelles and the United Kingdom (UK), teaching Science, Maths and Biology at GCSE and A Levels as well as working in the higher education sector as a PGCE and Business lecturer. Upon his return to the Seychelles in 2020, he worked briefly in the University of Seychelles as a business lecturer before embarking in his current role as the Principal of the Independent School. During his years of employment in education, he also occupied various other positions of responsibility such as 14-19 Curriculum Coordinator, Programme Leader, A level Coordinator and Quality Advisor among others.
Mr Esparon also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, both obtained from Bangor University with Distinction. In addition, he also holds a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership qualification from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK. Mr Esparon is a Chartered Manager of the Chartered Management Institute.
